What ALMA does
ALMA is a daily AI concierge for the Milan office — pulling real city data, writing its own script, and delivering it as a video. No human in the loop.
Dataset creation
Every month, ALMA scrapes Milan's cultural calendar — concerts, exhibitions, theatre — and stores it in Supabase alongside daily weather from Open-Meteo.
AI speech
Claude Sonnet reads the day's events and weather, then writes a 60–100 second briefing in ALMA's own voice — warm, local, specific. Every day, unique.
Video generation
ElevenLabs converts the script to audio, Kling AI generates the avatar video, Whisper times the subtitles, ffmpeg assembles the final branded MP4.
Email delivery
Resend delivers a branded HTML email to 84 Performance Team members with a one-click CTA to watch the briefing. Done by 9 AM, every weekday.
Website & archive
alma-milano.com hosts every briefing in a live archive. Built by Claude Sonnet, deployed on Vercel, updated automatically with each new video.
